Prayer Intention
Prayer in the Catholic Church is the raising of one's mind and heart to God or the asking for good things from God. Some prayers are said daily, such as the Morning Offering and the Angelus, others are for special occasions, such as the Magnificat. Prayers can be recited in groups, such as the Rosary and the Litany, while others are personal, such as the Act of Contrition and the Memorare. Prayers are based on Scripture, such as the Scriptural Rosary and the Magnificat, while others are inspired by tradition, such as the Salve Regina and the Prayer to St. Michael. Let us join in the prayerful communion with the Church.

Pray for Daranee Teapthong, who is now having cancer treatment. Her therapy left her with symptoms. After completing breast cancer therapy, she was diagnosed with lung and liver cancer. May God remove any bad repercussions while appreciating the anguish and suffering caused by cancerous cells. May God be patient and strengthen her while she completes her many responsibilities. Amen.

Pray for a peaceful conclusion to the Thailand-Cambodia disagreement. Civilians in the region are now losing property and being forced to migrate as a result of the risky situation. May God accept the spirits of the troops who defend our country and cure the injured. Let the God of Love assist us. May the God of Love provide us tranquility.
